Louise is the sweetest dog you will ever meet. Everyone that meets her wants to take her home with them! She is also a really great hunter. She is the daughter of Jag and my beloved Pennie. Aug. 29, 2003 she may have saved my life: We were feeding the horses when she honed in on something, I called her but she would not come! I knew something was wrong, she was so intent on the cabinet where I keep my brushes. I turned down the radio and then I herd it!!! A rattlesnake!!! She was just aggravating it enough to keep it rattling yet far enough away to not get bitten. Thank goodness for Louise or one of my horses or I might have been bitten!!! Horses don't handle rattlesnake bites very well and could die and we all know people do not handle the snake bite well ether. I removed the snake and released him far from my critters. |
